This is another version of the pastel painting, "Beauty for Ashes" where I have used a digital filter to create a dark background that will illuminate the beautiful pink lily and give . it a warm glow.
As I look at this lily I'm reminded that Jesus continues to give us beauty for the ashes in our lives. He gives us sight when we are spiritually blind, and brings us freedom when we are oppressed by guilt. He reminds us that the basis of our acceptance with Him will always be His finished work that took place outside of us on the cross. May your heart experience this beautiful exchange today.♥
